Colin Mowbray was born in the USA in the late sixties, he grew up in New Zealand and moved to Australia in 1989.
Colin made his first film at the age of ten and received First Prize in a national short film competition
(Peter Jackson came third).

He is an accomplished writer/director, with a strong visual style and a flair for black comedy, subtle performances and gritty realism.

He is currently single with one cat and residing in Melbourne, Australia.
